Here's to the New Years

I am a bit late to be posting this; I do realize this, but I finally have the time and energy to think about my blog now. So now that my half-hearted apology has been said, let me continue.

I look back on the last decade of my life. I want to say it was complete shit, but when I'm thinking this over, I have to stop myself in mid-"shit" and convince myself otherwise. Yes, it was filled with difficult times, and I am still damp from the storms that I've been through. But now that I'm through those storms, so to speak, I feel more powerful, confident, and knowledgeable, which is something that is all mine. I can choose to share it or keep it for myself, yet no one can take it away from me.

As for my New Years Resolutions, I decided to make a list of things that I want to learn this year. Here it goes.
